What Caused EXO’s Chen to Stop Singing in the Middle of His “Best Luck” Performance?

EXO’s Chen recently sang a live performance of his “It’s Okay, That’s Love” OST ballad titled “Best Luck” for the audience in attendance at the ‘2014 Daejeon Drama Festival APAN Drama Star Awards.’
However, Chen was forced to stop singing in the middle of his performance and start over from the beginning. It is said that the reason for this was due to a mistake made in playing the AR (all recorded) track instead of the MR (music recorded) track.
A few lines into the song, following the first verse, the EXO member realized that both the music and voice recorded track was being played when it should have just been the music recording used as a back track for his live singing. After recognizing the accidental mistake, Chen stopped singing to explain the situation and offered an apology to the audience before starting over the song from the beginning.
Meanwhile, his fellow group member, D.O, took home the Best New Actor award at this awards ceremony for his role in “It’s Okay, That’s Love.”
